The 2019 Athens Boat Show opens its doors from November 27 to December 1 at the former Olympic Fencing Centre in Ellinikon on the Athens Riviera Coast. Each year the show attracts thousands of enthusiasts from across Greece and abroad, looking for information about the latest products and services on the market.

The Athens Boat Show is aimed at all those who love marine recreation, extreme sports and marine tourism, as well as those who engage, professionally or not, with watersports. Focus areas are boats, services, equipment and fishing.

Although nowhere in the range of international boat shows, the Athens Boat Show is still the most important exhibition in Greece for boats and yachts. This year the highlight will be one of the first hulls of the new Dehler 30 – a unique Judel/Vrolijk design and candidate for the new offshore class of World Sailing and the International Olympic Committee (IOC). The show is organised by Greek industry association Secaplas.

Other Greek boat shows will follow in 2020, such as the Boat & Fishing Show 2020, the most popular show in Greece. Organised by Pelagic Media, Boat & Fishing will take place from March 13-15 at Helexpo in Marousi, Athens. This year more visitors and exhibitors are expected than ever. For the first time this year, Boat & Fishing will also host the Sea & Tourism Expo related to chartering and day cruises.

Another show aimed at fishing and sea sports is NATEX International. The 34th edition of the show will take place next year from March 13-16 and is organised by Varveris Publications.

The 19th EASTMED Yacht Show, a floating exhibition, will take place on Pier A at Zea Marina in Piraeus from May 8-11, 2020.

MEDYS, the 6th Mediterranean Yacht Show, will also take place in May 2020 at Nafplion, bringing together a collection of luxury crewed charter yachts and hundreds of international brokers. Organised by the Greek Yachting Association, the show is the largest of its kind, with hundreds of yachts on display. Last year over 450 international brokers from 31 countries had the opportunity to inspect each yacht over a five-day period and experience the level of services offered by captains and crews.
